Taster week in brief
What: attend a lecture, seminar or practical training.
When: 11-15 December 2017
Aim: give prospective students a realistic view of the study programme and of studying at a university, and help them to make sound choices in terms of their study programme and future direction.
For whom: students in their final year(s) of pre-university secondary education who have already done some preparatory research into their future studies (such as attending the UvA Bachelor’s Day and reviewing the information available online about their study programme of interest).

Alternative to the taster week: Student for a day
Become a student for a day and discover what it is like to study at the UvA. You will spend part of a day with a current student, attending a lecture or practical training and visiting the campus.
