Digi.Bio, Inspectation, CQM and dr. Nguyen win Dutch Data Science Awards

On Tuesday 12 June, the Dutch Data Science Awards were awarded for the second time. The three prizes were awarded in the Aula of the University of Amsterdam. Digi.Bio received the Anthony Fokker Prize for startups. Inspectation and CQM won the Hendrik Lorentz Prize with their project ‘Safe and efficient inspection of the track’. Dr. D.P. (Dong) Nguyen received the Gerrit van Dijk Prize for science for her dissertation ‘Text as social and cultural data: a computational perspective on variation in text’. Organizers of the Dutch Data Science Awards are Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen (KHMW) and Big Data Alliance (BDA).
