Ecosystem

The Amsterdam School of Data Science is an initiative of Amsterdam Data Science (ADS).

ADS is a network organisation founded by:

• Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
• Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica
• University of Amsterdam
• VU Amsterdam

ADS is a collaborative initiative of over 600 scientific researchers. ADS provides a network to connect expert researchers from business, humanities, informatics, life sciences and social sciences and actively promotes collaboration across disciplines, research institutes and industry within the Amsterdam region and beyond. We have a Supervisory Board, a Management Team and a large team of expert Researchers.

We work with a lot of different organisations in education and research; e.g Ahold Delhaize, Air France KLM, Avanade, Blendle, Booking.com, CBS, Elsevier, Gemeente Amsterdam, Google, Facebook, IBM, ING, KPMG, ORTEC, Philips, Politie, Qualcomm, Sap, Scyfer, Yandex, etc.

The knowledge insitutes from Amsterdam collaborate in the Amsterdam School of Data Science we also partner with other Regional, European and International initiatives to strengthen our Data Science offering further, for example:

• EDISON: Building the data science profession. A 2-year EU funded Horizon 2020 project with the purpose of accelerating the creation of the data science profession. The core EDISON consortium comprises seven partners from different countries across Europe.

Amsterdam Data Science has build an ecosystem where everything comes together. We work with all partners to build this ecosystem and work together on data science problems.
